Welcome to the Pauline Newman IP American Inn of Court Announcement Site
Our Inn is honored to bear the name of the Honorable Pauline Newman, Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Since its founding in 2011, under Judge Newman's vision to guide the practice of Intellectual Property law into the future, members can meet every month to address the current state of IP jurisprudence, and learn from each other through meetings, debates, dinners, and the coadjuvant connections that become profound through our shared commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional ideals of the legal profession.
The Inn is a member of the Linn Inn Alliance of intellectual property law focused American Inns of Court.

We are excited to announce that we have a full meeting schedule for 2020-2021, with the programs following a story arc about an eccentric larger-than-life billionaire who starts Gigantacorp, a company based on AI technology and its applications in commercial products.
We will meet once a month from September through May, with our initial meetings held online using Zoom. As conditions improve we will explore options for hosting blended in-person / Zoom meetings. For meetings that we will not be able to meet in person we plan to offer opportunities to have meals and drinks available for pickup or delivery so we can break bread “together” online. Meetings are on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, with a time for online social interaction from 6:30 – 7:00 and a formal program from 7:00 – 8:00.
