Welcome to the Pauline Newman IP American Inn of Court Announcement Site

Our Inn is honored to bear the name of the Honorable Pauline Newman, Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Since its founding in 2011, under Judge Newman's vision to guide the practice of Intellectual Property law into the future, members can meet every month to address the current state of IP jurisprudence, and learn from each other through meetings, debates, dinners, and the coadjuvant connections that become profound through our shared commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional ideals of the legal profession.

The Inn is a member of the Linn Inn Alliance of intellectual property law focused American Inns of Court.

Announcements

Dear Friends of the Newman Inn,

For the 2023-2024 Inn year we have planned a full schedule of in-person meetings. We look forward to seeing you again!  We hope you take this opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, learn about interesting topics in Intellectual Property Law, and mentor the next generation of lawyers.

We have a number of exciting programs and opportunities in store for members this year. As in past years, we will be hosting a number of social meetings, including a holiday party and our Annual Dinner. We will also conduct receptions and CLE presentations at the USPTO throughout the year. In addition to these activities, we are planning to expand on our past successes in community outreach, giving Inn members additional opportunities to engage with each other and our community.

We hope that you will join the Newman Inn or renew your membership to take advantage of the unique opportunities that the Inn provides to connect and engage with colleagues across the bench and bar who share a common interest in and commitment to ethics and civility in the practice of intellectual property.

Please submit your membership information by completing the online Membership Form (https://forms.gle/Y5Gq5YAiXFArFPBSA) and providing the requested information. Please complete the membership form at this link regardless of how you pay your dues.
